Nishati Inc. Licenses PAM™ Solar Array Products from CTD

Lafayette, Colorado, March 19, 2014. Nishati Inc., a newly organized Colorado corporation, announced today that Colonel (retired) Bob Charette, first Director of the Marine Corps Expeditionary Energy Office (E2O), will serve as the Chief Executive Officer for Nishati. Nishati also announced that it has negotiated an exclusive worldwide license with Composite Technology Development, Inc. (CTD) to manufacture, market and sell CTD’s Portable Array Module (PAM) solar array products and that PAM products will be the initial focus of Nishati’s operations.

In accepting the position as Nishati CEO, Charette said, “Through my work with E2O, I learned the value of renewable energy on the battlefield and the importance of energy in building economies and improving the lives of people who live in remote locations in Iraq and Afghanistan.” In describing his goals for Nishati, Charette commented, “Over 1.3 billion people around the world today live in remote areas without electricity. The license of PAM solar array products from CTD will enable Nishati to help our armed forces in the field and bring electricity to many of those without power.”

Dr. Naseem Munshi, CTD’s President and a former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, said “Licensing PAM solar arrays to Nishati is monumental for CTD. I sincerely believe that Nishati, under the strong leadership of Bob Charette, will be instrumental in making PAM solar arrays hugely successful in the military and commercial markets.”

Nishati also announced that Mike Tupper has accepted the position of Chief Business Development Officer of Nishati. Mr. Tupper has over 22 years’ experience putting new products into the market.
